Our membership year is from March 1 through February 28. New members joining on or after November 1 continue membership through the following year.
Membership dues are currently set at $24.00. Annual renewal is required by March 1 of each year to remain an active member.
Membership dues are paid online upon completion of your application. You can pay with a Visa or Mastercard Credit or Debit Card.
Anyone who is interested in meeting people and participating in the activities of the club. We are a nonprofit social organization that allows anyone to join, pending the payment of annual membership dues. You do not have to be a resident of Bend, nor do you have to be new to the area.
Your membership fees allow you to be a full participant in the club. You will receive regular information on upcoming events and activities, and contact information for other members.
No. One fee covers you and your spouse/partner living in the same house.
Yes, members have access to instructions.

Activities are a way for our Members to meet others with common interests. The club offers many varied activities but is always open to adding new ones, based on members’ interests. Anyone in the club can propose a new activity or volunteer to chair an existing one.
Anyone who is a member of Newcomers can attend events. Spouses or significant others are welcome to attend designated events. Guests can attend two luncheons, a coffee, and/or a happy hour prior to joining the club.
No. Unlike some newcomers organizations, Newcomers of Bend places no limits on length of membership. So, new and old members can meet and interact at all events.
Yes, we donate to many local and national organizations. Some of the charities we have donated to in the past include Salvation Army, Counsel on Aging, Giving Plate, and Bend Spay & Neuter Clinic, Bethlehem Inn and Shepherd's House for Women.
