Group activities meet monthly unless otherwise noted and are arranged by NCOB members. These activities come about through the creativity, interest and energy of NCOB members. Each activity is coordinated by an NCOB member/team. These activities can be social, sport, games, learning, creativity or just having fun! Prospective members may attend up to three NCOB functions before membership is required to continue with NCOB activities.

Dutch Lunch: A ladies get together for lunch at various Bend restaurants with an international flair. We meet the 2nd Monday of the month.
Coffee Social: Members meet and mingle for coffee at various coffee shops in Bend on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10 am.
Friendly Fridays: Coffee with the Gals: Coffee for current members bringing prospective ones, or for new people on their own. Meets the 2nd Friday of the month in March, May, July, September, November.
Girls' Night Out: This seasonal activity is for LADIES only. Events are scheduled four times a year and are held in a variety of venues, usually on a Thursday evening. They are a fun way for members to get to know other members, make new friends, and laugh with friends you already have. Guests are also welcome. Examples of events in the past are Audrey Hepburn Look Alikes; Furs, Feathers and Bling Bling; 50 Shades of Green; and Girls' Night Out at Red Martini. Please watch for events in the NCOB Newsletter.
Bridge: The Bridge Group is open to all players of an intermediate skill level. The Standard American Conventions are used. The group meets on the first and third Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Location rotates among players' homes, and advanced sign up is required.
Game Night: A social evening on the fourth Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm playing fun board games with wonderful NCOB ladies.
Scrabble in the Daylight: Scrabble in the Daylight gets together at Barnes & Noble on the first Monday of the month to play a fun game of Scrabble.
Mahjong: Meets the 3rd Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon.
Mexican Train: Meets the 1st Thursday of the month for ingles or couples.
Wine Downs: A play on words referring to the weekend when you want to "wind down." These gatherings are hosted in a member’s home. Wine Downs are fun social events where you can enjoy your favorite drink (either alcohol or non-alcohol), eat wonderful food, and meet and converse with other members. Spouses and significant others are welcome. Information is available in the Newsletter.
Happy Hours: The Happy Hour group meets the third Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This is an opportunity to explore wonderful restaurants and bars in the Bend area while meeting new people and building friendships in a relaxed environment. Locations change monthly and will be published in the Newsletter. Happy Hour discounts generally apply but may vary with each location. This is a no host event. Attendance limits change depending on the location. Spouses and significant others are welcome.
Newcomers Ale Trailers: The Ale Trailers meet to explore the many outstanding microbreweries and brewpubs that the Bend area has to offer and to enjoy each others company. Hiking: Co-ed hiking is a seasonal activity. Please see Newsletter for details.
Pleasure Walking: Join the Pleasure Walking group on Sundays and Thursdays. The group meets in front of Anthony's Restaurant in the Old Mill District at 9:30 a.m. Please join us for a non-completive walk where members walk at their own pace on flat paved surfaces. We walk around various areas in Bend. Join us for coffee after the walk!
